Northern Illinois Women’s Center Ltd. was established in 1973 by Dr. Richard M. Ragsdale, he specialized in the care of women. Dr. Ragsdale passed away in October 2004. We are continuing in his belief that all women should be in control of their destiny, and reproductive freedom. The clinic now is under the guidance of Dr. Dennis Christensen, he was a colleague of Dr. Ragsdales and also specializes in the care of women. Northern Illinois Women’ Center has an excellent record of medical safety and quality care. Procedures are directed by Dr. Dennis Christensen, a board certified OB-GYN, with 30 years experience in the abortion field. In the rare situation someone requires hospital care our doctor is on staff at a local hospital. We are professional health care providers. We come from all different backgrounds and specialize in different areas of the medical field and its support staff. We have gathered a staff of nurses, lab technicians and patient advocates they are all here for your support. If at any time something concerns you, ask to speak to the director. She will address any concern you have immediately. Our purpose is to provide you with reproductive health information, counseling, and options, to enable you to make the best decision that is right for you.
